Daniels 70 Weeks

Then he [the antichrist] shall confirm a covenant with many for one week [ 7 years]; But in the middle of the week [3 and ½ years] He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering [at the rebuilt Jewish Temple in Israel]. And on the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate, Even until the consummation, which is determined, Is poured out on the desolate."

In Daniel 9:25, Gabriel prophesied to Daniel that 70 weeks (of years) remained for Daniel’s people (the Jews), who were under The Law. 69 of the 70 weeks (of years) were fulfilled to the day when the Messiah entered Jerusalem on a donkey allowing people to worship Him as the Messiah for the first time. [See Chuck Missler's bible study re: Daniel's 70 Weeks.] Since the Triumphant Entry, Daniel’s 70 weeks has STOPPED. There has been a pregnant pause for about 2,000 years when Temple sacrifices were stopped. This 2,000 years has been the Age of Grace, the Age of the Church, when salvation has come to the Gentiles of the world. The last 7 years of Gabriel's prophecy for Daniel's people (the Jews) is still unfulfilled.

Ezekiel's 430 Days by Chuck Missler

But the restoration of Israel during the past Century [See Chuck Missler's bible study re: Ezekiel's 430 days], signals the approaching end of the Church Age and the soon resumption of Daniel’s last week of years, the last 7 years of Gabriel’s prophecy for Israel. This last 7 years will be identified when a Covenant is confirmed by the AntiChrist, the “False Messiah”, with Israel, no doubt for Israel’s “Peace and Safety”, something that has alluded the Jews for the past 2,000 years. During this last 7 year period under the covenant, the 3^rd Temple will be built on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, and Temple sacrifices will resume as they did during the first 69 weeks of Gabriel’s prophecy.

During the first 3 and ½ years of the Covenant, God will send “Two Witnesses”, Two Prophets to preach repentance and prophecy to the Jews, urging the Jews to recognize Yeshua/Jesus as their Messiah, the one with pierced hands and feet due to his crucifixion as per Isaiah 53 and Zec 12:10. The scriptures warn (Rev 11:3-6) "They [the two prophets of God] have power to shut heaven, so no rain falls in the days of their prophecy [ 3 and ½ years]; and they have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to strike the earth with all plagues, as often as they desire." They kill anyone who tries to kill them. But after 1,260 days, (3 and ½ years) God will allow the antichrist to kill the Two Witnesses, and their bodies will be left unburied in the streets of Jerusalem. The death of the Two Witnesses will cause the world to rejoice make merry and to give gifts to each other. But 3 and ½ Days after their death, God will suddenly resurrected them and they will stand to their feet, causing great fear to abound. Then God will call them to Heaven and everyone will witness their ascension to Heaven.

Daniel 9:27 also warns that this 7 Year Covenant/Treaty will be broken after 3 and ½ years. The antichrist will enter the Holy of Holies of the new Temple and declare himself to be God and demand that all worship him. This is a lie of course. Matthew 24 warns anyone in Israel to immediately flee for the mountains and get out of Israel, for now the antichrist who until now had pretended to befriend the Jews, will now turn on them and persecute the Jews during the remaining 3 and ½ years of Gabriel’s prophecy.

It is during this last 3 and ½ years that the Wrath of God, the fearful “Day of the Lord” will occur, and God’s wrath will be poured out upon the whole earth.

	Dan 9:26	"And after the sixty-two weeks Messiah shall be cut off, but not for Himself [The Messiah will be killed but He will not die for his own sins, but for the sins of the world]; And the [Roman] people of the prince who is to come Shall destroy the city and the sanctuary [fulfilled 70 A.D.]. The end of it shall be with a flood, And till the end of the war desolations are determined. [Thus begins the pregnant pause for about 2,000 years, the Age of Grace, the church age, when salvation comes to the gentiles. 7 years still remain to be fulfilled of Gabriel’s prophecy.]
