I looked up the distance. It is 9311 miles to Auckland. Which is also interesting in that there is still a 911 in the distance. From Auckland to Christchurch it is 473 miles SW. So that is even further from NYC. But, as I said, it is still interesting that the numbers 9 and 11 are on the comparator.
