"1st Evidence: Damascus Destroyed Slightly Prior to the Resurrection of the Dead"
Readers -
this is perhaps the
most important verse impressed on me since the 12/97 experience which
began on 12.05 which is day 339 in a non leap year.
Acts 9:40
"But
Peter put them all forth, and kneeled down and prayed; and turning him
to the body said, Tabitha, arise. And she opened her eyes: and when she
saw Peter, she sat up."
this is one of two verses in the New Testament that contains Strong's 339g
339g = anakathizo = to sit up, raise one's self, erect
both verses, Luke 7:15 and Acts 9:40 are about two people who have died and then they are raised from the dead and "sit up".
Luke 7:15 = the son of the widow of Nain who the Lord Jesus raises.
Acts 9:40 = Tabitha, translated Dorcas (female gazelle).
I've
posted before on this verse and that my personal take on it is that
9:40 Joppa time is the exact time of the Resurrection spoken of in 1
Thessalonians 4:16.
I've also posted before on the Destruction
of Damascus and the number 1289 which I think the Lord showed me about
it. somehow Shechem, where the patriarchs are buried is also involved.
if you go here:
http://www.biblewheel.com/GR/GR_Database.asp?bnum=44&cnum=9&vnum=40
you can see for yourself the word order of Acts 9:40, gematrias etc.
the sentence is in chronological order of the event:
Peter puts everyone out
Peter prays
Peter speaks to Tabitha
Tabitha comes back from the dead and sits up.
then the Damascus is destroyed (Isaiah 17:1) slightly prior to the Resurrection.
notice there is a word in the sentence that has a value of 1289. (4336g = prayed).
I
theorize that this number 1289 represents the Destruction of Damascus,
and that it happens immediately prior to the Resurrection of the Dead
(Dorcas/Tabitha)....
...but only slightly - say, a few seconds
or minutes - from the time Peter started to pray (1289), to Tabitha's
awakening and 'sitting up' (339g) - that's the time difference between
the two events.
