in December of 1997 or early in 1998, after the visitation of the Lord during the the first week of that December, the following verse was really impressed on me:
Hebrews 11:7
By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.
what struck me was the two fold - the saving of his house, and the condemning of the world. these two things happened at the same time. I was really struck by the finality of the situation. when the Lord shut the door, the righteous were in, and the unrighteous were out and there was no altering that - at that point it was too late.
the Lord God was on a strict timetable, which He stuck to.
this is in keeping with the Great Exchange concept (and drawing) that the Lord also impressed on me in Dec 1997.

one of the things that is not recounted there was something i felt like
the Lord said, which was ...
"A Great Exchange is coming".
this was an exchange of the believers on the planet for the airborne
forces of the adversary that were free - but would be thrown to earth
and trapped here.
i can't say that my feeling about it was that there was a one-to-one
exchange but a definite replacement concept. the children of light were
being taken and replaced with the devil and his 'children' of darkness.
they were being cast down to earth from their location in outer space.
i drew a small picture representing this which i have attached. this is
not the actual picture i drew, but a recreation. the down and up arrows
indicate the exchange, the moon and stars and the surface of the earth
are shown also. i felt like the devils forces came from outer space,
from beyond the moon, and possibly even from beyond mars.
i also did not know whether this exchange happened immediately, or
whether there was a space of time between the two events. - but i seem
to remember that i drew it with the devil's forces being cast to earth
first, then the catching away.
but i'm not really clear on that, and this is highly speculative anyway,
but i do feel comfortable with what i thought the Lord said.
Rev 12:9
"And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil,
and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the
earth, and his angels were cast out with him."
