God instructed Moses on the specifics of the 'wave offerings at the alter':

Just as the 'wave offering at the alter' on the day of the 'Feast of Firstfruits' of the firstfruits single-sheaf of grain represented and foretold the future fulfillment of the resurrection of the 'Firstfruits of Man', who is Jesus Christ, on the very day of the 'Feast of Firstfruits'; (Leviticus 23:9-14)

The fifty days between the 'Feast of Firstfruits' and the 'Feast of Harvest' (Pentecost) represent the 'Church Age of Grace'.

The 'wave offering at the alter' on the day of the 'Feast of Harvest'(Pentecost) of two loaves of firstfruits-grain bread baked with leaven (sin) represent and foretell the future fulfillment of the resurrection (rapture)of the 'dead in Christ' followed by the 'living in Christ' who together are the 'Firstfruits of the Church' on the very day of the 'Feast of Harvest' which is Pentecost. (Leviticus 23:15-21).

The next 'Feast of Harvest' (Pentecost) is June 12, 2011
