"SCRIPTURE TEACHES US ABOUT THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN 'TRIBULATION' AND 'WRATH'"
Dear Doves,
TRIBULATION:
John 16:33
"These
things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world
YOU WILL HAVE TRIBULATION; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the
world."
Acts 14:22
"strengthening the souls of the disciples,
exorting them to continue in the faith, and saying, WE MUST THROUGH
MANY TRIBULATIONS ENTER THE KINGDOM OF GOD."
Romans 5:3
"And not only that, but WE ALSO GLORY IN TRIBULATIONS, KNOWING THAT TRIBULATION PRODUCES PERSEVERANCE."
WRATH:
Romans 5:9
"Much more then, having been justified by His blood, WE SHALL BE SAVED FROM WRATH THROUGH HIM."
1 Thessalonians 1:10
"and to wait for His Son from Heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even JESUS WHO DELIVERS US FROM THE WRATH TO COME."
1 Thessalonians 5:9
"FOR GOD DID NOT APPOINT US TO WRATH, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ."
CONCLUSION:
"Tribulation" and "wrath" do NOT have the same meaning in Scripture.
We DO NOT have permission to interchange the word "tribulation" with the word "wrath" in the Scriptures at our own descretion.
While
we are 'watching' for Jesus to return to 'rapture' His Church, we
should keep in mind the difference we have been taught in the
Scriptures between "tribulation" an "wrath".
NOWHERE in Scripture are we told we will be "saved from tribulation", but we are promised to be "saved from wrath."
Come Lord Jesus!
