Dear Doves,

Step one:
1 Thessalonians 4:16
"For the Lord Himself shall descend from Heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise (resurrect) first (step one)."

Step two:
1 Thessalonians 4:17
"Then (step two) we which are alive and remain shall be caught up (rapture)together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord."

What these Scriptures do not tell us is how much time there is between 'step one' and 'step two'. It could be that 'step one' will be the sign that we are looking for to tell us that 'step two' is about to happen.

Noah was given a 7-day warning, and the Ninevites were given a 40-day warning.
