"Re: Steve W (29 Sep 2010) "The Great Deception of the Rapture Watch This!" But what if?"

Did anyone think what meeting the Lord in the air might entail?

There are many occasions in the Bible where a chariot of some sort is involved such as the way Elijah was raptured, and other occasions such as during the Transfiguration Moses (representative of those who died and Elijah representative of those raptured) are taken back in a cloud, a cloud the disciples are afraid of...Luke 9....Then Jesus went up in a cloud to heaven...what kind of cloud?  What if the evil one who always copycat God or tries to...we all know how he operates...what if he has twisted the manner that we are raptured and accomplishes double deception?  One would be us, Christians, would we not believe if we did see some crafts and they were from our Father, but because of all of what you mention Steve we could be deceived in thinking that they are demons.....and could they indeed be some kind of double arrival of space ships some real (from God) some fake (from the evil one)?  The angel told the disciple that Jesus would come back as they seen Him go up right?

Acts describes in Acts 1:3 that Jesus visited with his followers for forty days after his resurrection. Acts 1:9-12 states:

"And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven." Then returned they unto Jerusalem from the mount called Olivet, which is from Jerusalem a sabbath day's journey.

To me it could describe exactly what this movie is saying the aliens are doing... so what if the devil is using this to deceive us...what do you think?

The copying of this event by the devil would then be the scenario you offer Steve...what say you?
