Saturday nite,August 30  Was out on the porch to see if any of the cats were around, about 9:30, pm.  When all at once, something big and bright got my attention- yes, in the open field, where I saw the other phenomenon last year and early this year. This "show" was differnt from the other two, yet in the very same place. On the perimeter of the field is a small forest. First, it was a big brightness among the trees, that then lifted up above the horizon; I thought is there a fire? Then dark again. Next, it looked like a big orange ball just on the horizon above the trees- like a bomb looks when you see a picture of an exploding bomb. Then all dark. Next, the big orange-red glow among the forest, no noise, no burn smell, not real fire. Then dark. Next, a gold smaller, glowing long "stick"  fell from the sky over to the right- don't know what it was, no noise. Then in the field, a big gold half ball ascending from the field. Then dark. Then one came down, identical to that one.  Then, a bluish-silver flash from the field. This went on for at least 30 minutes, as I called my husband out to watch all this.  All this turning on and off, like a continuous "show".  I was really  amazed.  I can't begin to figure it out- I just know the different dates that I saw these things- 10-09-2007; 2-09-2008, and 08-30-2008.  HIS, Carolyn
