Dear Jeff,
 
The reason to look beyond Rosh Hashanah 2008 is to keep looking forward each time 'God's perfect timing' does not coincide with our human timing. NEVER GIVE UP HOPE even when we are sure we are right and are not. We are to "endure patiently" while being watchful and ready for His coming for us.
 
Come Lord Jesus, When you are ready for us, and not when we think we are ready for you!
