I have been reading 5 doves for a while and this is the first time I felt a need to respond to a post. It appears that Mr. Casagrande is critical of Sarah Palin as a parent because her daughter got pregnant. There are many good families who have done everything right in raising their kids and the children have gone on to make mistakes. She is going to keep the child and marry the father. It is not fiction that Senator Obama  would say that she has a right to get an abortion and he would support her or anyone else who chooses to  have this done. I don't understand how people of good faith can back a candidate who supports abortion. Mr Casagrande says that when we stand before God we have to give an account of our life. I believe this to be absolutely true. I would wish that people could tell god they supported the unborn children . Sarah Palin may not be perfect but her character, morals, and the way she conducts herself indicate to me she is a wonderful person. I will remember this when I cast my ballot in November.               Bill Kangas
