I have long said something would happen soon, so I could relate to your visit with your parents.

  What will happen?? I don't know for sure BUT:

when our oldest boy Luke became engaged recently and started talking about an Oct. wedding I thought NO that's not when they are supposed to get married but much sooner...

They got married last Friday.  It was an "elopement" with consent from parents on both sides and almost all immediate family members present, license, Pastor officiating and the bride and groom had their First Kiss in the wedding ceremony--Praise the LORD!!  It would be difficult to imagine being happier for them.  And now they are ready for whatever is ahead, which makes me even happier.
