To all of those we have all prayed with and for, just a word of encouragement here to hold on to Jesus andnever give up. You know, it only takes 1 person praying with faith in the promises of God for any or manyto be healed, strengthed, encouraged, and restored to wholeness. While sometimes there are instantaneousmiracles, other times we walk the walk of faith in God's Word no matter what we see or feel. His Wordsupercedes everything else there is. Your prayers are powerful and the fervent prayer of the righteousavails MUCH. I encourage you to understand the power of your own and ours together and realize thatit is God's pleasure to see that our prayers are answered, even before we see the manifestation of thoseanswers.I do believe in my own hard times and that of family, that meditating daily on the Words of Life gave memore hope and encouragement and faith and changed mine and other's lives more than anything else...sometimes quickly and other times slowly., but nevertheless...prayers were answered.
Another thing that gave faith was hearing the Word almost around the clock from CD and audio tapes...keep those scriptures coming as our faith only comes from hearing the Word.A friend had a very sick brother in ICU and she took her old worn Bible and they let her sit next to hisbed and she read every scripture she had marked on healing and wholeness. She read 6 or 8hours and other family members read every minute to him, except when they were run out of ICUfor short times. Keep in mind that this man was in a coma and on life support. They leaned closeto him and told him to receive those Words of Life. On and on for 4 days. On the 4th day he openedhis eyes and moved a bit, and they just kept on pouring the Word into his spirit, soul, and body.The next day he was removed from life support and he did live and he did go home and to this dayhe is still living and is able to work. Every few hours the readers would speak to him telling him to "hearthe Word of the Lord". You know, when the name of Jesus is used in faith , everything has to bow downto it....even a body in a coma. oh hallelujah. Some days later, the brother in the coma said from timeto time he would hear them reading the scripture and in his mind, he was able to speak to God andtell Him........."I take it God...I receive it God". There is power in the Words of God. There is power inname of Jesus ! I do need to say that this man was already a Christian before the time of this sickness.Phillipians chapter 2[9] Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:[10] That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
This includes everything in heaven, earth, and under the earth. We can trust in His Name, in His Word,in the blood He shed ,in His love for us. Will sickness, grief, heartache and fear bow to His name? He says they will, and I believe His Word.I have started a little spiral notebook with the names of people on this site to pray for as well as the caregivers whether theirnames are known or not And then I add without names, those viewing the posts on 5 doves.Be encouraged in the Lord, I have a testimony from Roberta, my friend from the answered prayers of people right on 5 doves,which I will give later or let her come in and post it herself..
