Dear Doves,

Very early this morning as I went to McDonalds for a cup of
coffee I met a lovely 82 year old Christian lady.

I sat down with her and she told me her story of being
beaten and robbed by a neighbor of hers. She had let him
into her house not having a fear of him because she knew
him. This was in 2002.

After a while she told him she needed to get busy and he
needed to go. He asked to use the restroom saying he
could not make it back to his house.

A little while later he came out wearing gloves and carrying
her metal poker. He hit her over the head and proceeded to
beat her throat and back and face. He left her dead. He then
robbed the house and stole her car.  She lived and was in the
hospital unconscious for four days. She was in the hospital for
over two weeks. She was so black and blue the nurses would
not allow her to see a mirror. She needed 36 staples in her
head.

What proceeded later was an absolute miracle. Her guardian
angel picked her up and carried her to another neighbor's
house. When the man opened his door Della was floating in
mid air looking as if she was being carried by someone. He felt
like he knew what was happening and held out his arms so
the angel could place her in them! Thank God for the discern-
ment of that neighbor.

Della used to sing for the LORD but with her throat injury she
can no longer sing at churches. Now God has givien her a
ministry of going to churches telling her testimony for His glory!
Hallelujah!

It does not matter who wants you dead. We cannot be taken
out unless God says so.

The Scripture I left her with was "Thou shalt live and not die,
to stand again upon the earth to give testimony..."
