Hollywood, Sep 12, 2007 (CNA).- The Emmy's are usually
an opportunity for performers to thank all of those
who helped them deliver their award-worthy
performances. Many stars thank God for their
abilities, but comedian Kathy Griffin decided that she
would prove that she has no fear of God by blaspheming
Jesus in her acceptance speech.Griffin made her inflammatory comments on Saturday
night as she took the stage of the Shrine Auditorium
to collect her Emmy for the best reality program for
her Bravo channel show "My Life on the D-List."""In her speech, Griffin said that "a lot of people
come up here and thank Jesus for this award. I want
you to know that no one had less to do with this award
than Jesus."She went on to hold up her Emmy, make an off-color
remark about Christ and proclaim, "This award is my
god now!""________________________________________
Here's something interesting and maybe you can see it
in the second link above. The angel that is the Emmy
is a fallen one, it has lightning bolts for wings and
holds the world in its hands. Also, the Academy of
Television Arts and Sciences used to be called the
"National" Academy . . . or NATAS which is SATAN
spelled backwards (probably a lot of people noticed
and they seemed to have dropped the "National" so it
isn't so obvious).Wonder if Ms. Griffin knows she is actually
proclaiming Satan as her god?http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Academy_of_Television_Arts_and_Sciences
