Testimony from a 9-11 WTC survivor:“I was asking him for a miracle. I was there and I was just giving my all to him and I was saying, God you can do miracles. I heard that you’ve done it before. Why can’t you show me a miracle today? Show me a sign. Show me that you hear me. I’m calling all-out to you, just answer me.”
A day later, Genelle was drifting in and out of consciousness when the presence of a man named Paul snapped her to alertness. He held her hand and said, “You’re alright. They’re going to get you out of here. I’m going to hold your hand through it all until the guys get here.”
The rescuers found Genelle Guzman sleeping and standing up, the only survivor taken alive on September 12. She was fully conscious when taken to the hospital, and asked that she might meet and thank Paul. The problem was no one amongst the police or fire departments in her area had anyone named Paul, nor did anyone confess to holding her hand.
