Lisa Taylor,A famous Biblical scholar, Clarnece Larkin (1850-1924), agrees with you that
the Feast of Tablernacles is the probable date for the rapture. In his book
Dispensational Truth or God's Plan and Purpose in the Ages (1918) he puts
forward his argument in the diagram, The Mountain Peaks of Prophecy
page 5-6 in Note A.Larkin's argument goes like this: There are three major Feasts:
Passover, Pentecost and Tabernacles. These are to be celebrated by Jewish
men each year.Christ fulfilled Passover as the Lamb of God in 1 Cor 5:7-8 "Purge out
therefore the old leaven that ye may be a new lump. For even Christ our
PASSOVER is sacrificed for us.Therefore, let us keep the feast, not with
old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but
with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth." As Passover was celebrated
with the slain lamb offering by the Jews, at the same time, Jesus hung on the
cross as the slain Lamb of God who taketh away the sins of the world.Pentecost was fulfilled in Acts 2:1-4 "And when the day of PENTECOST was fully come they were all in one accord in one place..." Many were filled with the
Spirit of God and accepted Jesus as the Messiah at this time.At the Feast of Tabernacles two silver trumpets were used to summon the people (Num 10:1-10, Lev. 23:24) So A trumpet will be used to summon the SAINTS at the
Rapture, and seven years later, the ELECT OF ISRAEL at the Revelation. As Jesus was crucified on the data of the Passover Feast and the Holy Spirit was given at the Feast of Pentecost, it is probable that the Rapture will occur
on the date of the Feast of Tabernacles, and seven years later on the same date the Elect of Israel be summoned.Robert B.
