"Sandy, there sure is a discrepancy"

Not one of the people described as prophets or prophetic are looking for a rapture, as far as I know.  I like these people personally but  they simply are wrong a lot and then excuses are made or the word given is vindicated by saying the event occurred but not as we thought.

At the same time, there is a lot of the devil”s voice and apparently, dreams and visions from him given out and taken for the voice of the Lord by regular believers.  Remember the Korean Christians in ’92 with visions about the rapt. Being in October of that year?

Remember the pastor many years ago on TBN who heard this booming voice declaring that evil would be ripped out of the world on such and such a date?  Again, it was the voice of the enemy pretending to be God. We have had a couple recently about Rosh Hashana.

I am not talking about guys like David Wilkerson who have been incredibly wrong but do not claim to be prophets.

There is no test about a prophecy or dream or vision that you can apply as long as it does not directly contradict the Word.  Only when it comes to pass or if it doesn’t can you tell.  I think there are prophets today, but they are not the same as the O.T. guys who heard God speak and said.. “This is what the Lord said” .

We are required to walk by faith and so do prophetic ones today.  I have made a lot of mistakes, so I want to be quick to give these people leeway, recognizing they are in the same boat.  Some of these are “Seers” who see something and don’t have a clue what it means,  I have come to the view, when someone sees something bad, to intercede and declare the thing will NOT happen.
