This is a terrible scandal, to hold a secret meeting with gay Episcopal
priests and their partners. I heard on Christian television that it
will be a secret meeting, invoking the "Chatham" rules which are
usually used more for meetings which will discuss secret government
affairs. This means no one at the meeting may discuss it afterwards
with anyone. It is to be held at a church usually attended by the
wealthiest British Episcopalians. No doubt they feel it must be secret to protect themselves, but to me
it smacks of an occult society. Probably many sub rosa meetings of
"the Church" have been held through the centuries, where perversions
were part of the picture.I attend an Episcopal church here in Los Alamos some times, and it is
not like that as far as I know. But it makes me uneasy to hear these
stories. I have tried other churches here but the ones I've tried are
adjuncts of the Vineyard or else have carpet cleaner which prevents me
from attending, or some other problem such as poor Bible teaching. I
feel alone and the online Christian community helps my loneness. Thanks for being there, Donna, John, and Doves.
