MORE PROOF FOR ‘FEAST OF TABERNACLES’

 

Let us also not forget this is an eight day festival that occurs between the sun downs of September 27 and October 5, 2007.

In Matthew 24:16-17 we are told that ‘those in Judea would flee to the mountains, while those on the housetops would also flee not even go back into their homes, as the word gets out that the “abomination of desolation” is in the ‘holy place’.

 

There is only one time during the year in Israel that Jews are on their roof. That is where their Sukkahs are, to celebrate God’s ‘appointed time’, the Feast of Tabernacles. Many Israeli’s sleep in their Sukkah’s during this festival!

 

Yeshua has given us a clue as to when the “official” dividing of His Father’s land or the ‘abomination of desolation’ takes place. (Daniel 11:31,39) Think about it... Yeshua didn’t have to mention people on their roofs! It has significance.

 

This could not have happened in 70AD, the Romans and Israel fought up to the ‘destruction’ of the Temple, they surely were not on there rooftops at this time, there homes were being over run by the Roman army.

 

This was the 9th of Av, two months before the Feast of Tabernacles’! Plus if this had happened in 70AD, why did John, some twenty years later mention it in Revelation 13:5-6?
