"re: "Yeshua Superstar...!""

Thank you Stephen for re-posting this beautiful video.  I love watching it.  I, too deal with the blasphemous words against the Lord and hate each day in my little ministry to the Jewish people. I learned early on to keep my emotions intact, because I guess I'm a bit of a scrapper at heart, and my natural instincts were to fight back.  So, through this, the Lord has done some work with me too.  There are times it's like a poker game; you have to know when to hold 'em (keep speaking truth in love) and when to fold 'em (walk away from such extreme hate). In doing research for this to confront someone about the source of their teachings, I discovered that the Toledat Yeshu was written by Karaite Jew.  That was shocking!  Rabbi Tovia Singer is usually the source of most of the hateful Anti-missionary teachings. "Christians" are a dirty word to them, and so they express it as X'tians.

More recently, I've run into yet another entire concept. Someone who believes in YESHUA, but believes that Saul was confronted on the Road to Damascus by Satan representing himself as an angel of light. He feels that Paul did the devil's work, writing his epistles and created belief in "another" entity called Jesus, who will be the antichrist!  It gets pretty twisted after that. Let's see, the mark of the beast is going to be the cross, etc., etc.

I was telling some of this to a Messianic buddy on Rosh Hashana over apples and honey.  I guess I was a bit frustrated after this past year or so, and his comment was...remember that the serpents have no ears!  His statement made sense.  Sometimes you just have to walk away from some folks when after being presented with truth upon truth and they are still just as hateful as ever.  The Lord got me into this for a reason, and I know He had a purpose that He is fulfilling.  Unfortunately, in this particular type of forum one would not expect to "see" the fruit. So, I just plant the seeds of truth, and trust the Lord to reap the harvest of it to His Glory!  It's always exciting though to hear how the Messianic congregations in Israel are growing, as well as the huge numbers of Islamics coming to faith in the King of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob!

Waiting for His Glorious Appearing, until then I remain a laborer in His vineyard...
