"Rapture ideas"

Dear Doves,

I emailed Ted Porter, wondered if he was interested in some Rapture ideas I had, and was wanting his feedback. So I sent him this email, and he responded below. We thought they were worth sharing with all of our Dove family. Thanks John Tng for hosting and doing all the behind the scenes work involved with this site!!!! This site is a blessed place  :) See below for the two emails. Some Rapture ideas: basically, I was thinking about this:

·         UN Resolution 242 - was adopted unanimously by the UN Security Council on November 22, 1967 in the aftermath of the Six Day War. The resolution's most important feature is the "land for peace" formula, calling for Israeli withdrawal from "territories" it had occupied in 1967 in exchange for peace with its neighbors. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_Nations_Security_Council_Resolution_242#Text_of_Resolution ·         In the Bible, Numbers chapter  14:  40yr punishment by God on Israel for not going and possessing the land, possibly a modern day equivalent

·         Days of Noah - (Mat 24:37 KJV)  But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

Notice the date of UN 242: November 22, 1967, if you add 40yrs = November 22, 2007 or Thanksgiving! If you look at the Hebrew date for November 22, 1967 it is Heshvan 19, 5728, if you add 40yrs = Heshvan 19, 5768 = October 31, 2007 or Halloween! Interesting dates don't you think!  Rapture maybe?  Thanksgiving or Halloween, depending on how you look at it!The month of Heshvan brought to mind my Noah study. Heshvan just happens to be the second month, if a person considers the month of Tishri as the first month, which it is using the Jewish Civil calendar, now look at this passage: (Gen 7:11-13 KJV)  In the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened.  And the rain was upon the earth forty days and forty nights.   In the selfsame day entered Noah, and Shem, and Ham, and Japheth, the sons of Noah, and Noah's wife, and the three wives of his sons with them, into the ark; Heshvan 17 or 2/17 equals October 29, 2007 which is the 78th anniversary of the great stock market collapse!

Here is another thought, the Judgment clock started 2/17 in Noah's day, clock stopped 2/27 per Genesis 8:13, 14. So when the Judgment clock starts again the next day is 2/28, right? Using Tishri as month one, Heshvan 28 is that day. So what is Heshvan 28 in the present year of 2007??? Another interesting date: 11/9 or 9/11 reversed, which is the European format for dates: day then month. Maybe 11/9/2007 is significant???

YBIC, John...

Sounds like some good points worth sharing.  Was going to add that Martin Luther nailed his 95 theses on Wittenburg door on October 31, 1517.  Add 70 times 7 Gregorian years (which stands for forgiveness and Israel's restoration) and we arrive at October 31, 2007.  And there is much to be said about the 17th day of the 2nd month which if you add 30 times 3 (which stands for resurrection) Hebrew years to the Balfour Declaration on Heshvan 17, 5678, (Nov 2, 1917) we arrive at October 29, 2007.

Lot's of possibilities.  Lots of very good signs.  Good to hear your thoughts.  I find for myself when others share it stimulates my own thoughts much like "iron sharpening iron".

Shalom!
Your Brother in Christ!
