Martin said, "I just wanted to say that I don't believe that prophecy
can be reversed."

You are correct.  That was just a play on words to emphasize what has happened.

Other ways of saying it would be "prophecy undone."  Or, "God's
perfect will missed."

God gave them back the land according to prophecy, now they are
giving it away to the heathen.

But as I said, God is not caught by surprise.  He is still in
charge.  It is all going according to His overall plan.
