Dear Doves,

It is a huge confirmation to me about who God is and how He answers our prayers and speaks to us, seeing all of this discussion about 444

About a month before everyone (well, many of you anyway) started talking about waking up at 4:44, in fact, it was while the discussion was on seeing 3s of any number, I woke up at 4:44 in the morning and thought...this has some significance, but I had no idea what the significance was.

I prayed about it, looked up the number 4 and its Biblical significance, considered writing into you all and asking your thoughts, but never did.  Then a few weeks later, you all started talking about the significance of 444.  It is as though God told me that it was important and to wait and He would tell me why.  And it seems He has though you all.

And though I believe we will be raptured and not have to drink of God's wrath, I do believe we all face trials, tribulation and persecution to one degree or another.  The reference to 444 in Revelation where the 4 angels of the 4 corners of the earth are holding back the 4 winds is a very real reminder that God is in control.  Perhaps the greatest significance of 444 is that very message.  Ours is an awesome God, not a god of chaos, but a God of order, who knows the end from the beginning. In that we can have confidence in His plan in obedience being about the work He has assigned to us.
