Dear John and all Doves,
Depending on when we believe the new moon was declared, the Feast of Trumpets began 9-11 to 9-13-2007. If two witnesses were needed, did they have to be two men in Jerusalem, or the two witnesses of the heavens and the earth mentioned in Matthew, chapter 5? Then the Christ/Messiah declared it early in the process of the waxing moon sometime after the conjunction at 12:44U.T. and the partial eclipse near that time.
It takes 14 days for the moon to go from dark to full. The declaration must be earlier rather than later because otherwise Tabernacles begins at a point after the moon has reached its fullness and is already in a waning phase! This cannot be.
Thus, the earlier declaration by Messiah makes sense. Of special interest is the weekly Sabbath of 9-21 to 22. This is also the day Ola Ilori in her 9-10-2007 posting believes the jubilee trumpet will sound from the heavens. This would be a double Sabbath. It would be the Sabbath of the day 7, an additional Sabbath, and early in the new sabbatical year if not jubilee as well.
Will there be the option of days to celebrate Yom Kippur? These would be 2 days in which a few will be repenting, wearing white, fasting, and preparing for serious change. Two is an interesting number. It is about division and separation. Let us not rush to Tabernacles before Yom Kippur is lived out in spirit and in truth. The atonement must come before the rest and the glory. The midnight hours for Israel on 9-20 to 22 may prove important. May we in spirit, together watch. Bless you each and all. With Love and Shalom,
