Dear John and all Doves,
A number of us are looking at the period ahead of 9-11 to 9-14 as potentially very important. But a very important question and answer is who declares the new moon begun and the starting of the Feast of Trumpets. There is no more earthly temple in use on the temple mount, no more earthly high priest, and no more descendants of Aaron working at an earthly temple. Where is the great high priest now? He is our Christ/Messiah at work in heaven as our advocate. For all the research we have done on this feast/additional sabbath it is vital that we see Him in the center of it all. The book of Revelation tells us that He has all authority and power on earth and heaven. He does not need two earthly men to be witnesses that the sliver of light is seen on the moon from Jerusalem. The moon is already in a waxing phase of 4-8 percent before it is seen by the naked eye from Jerusalem. The Messiah has the best vision of anyone with his resurrection body. He can see the illumination after 12:44U.T. on 9-11-2007. Can He see it at 1 percent and declare it that day? Do not put too much faith on the traditions of men! If we do, we will be preparing and watch a day or two too late! He may well come before the calenders say that the new moon/Feast of Trumpets begins. It is curious and perhaps meaningful that the new moon and partial eclipse of the sun are about the same time that day. These would be signs in the sun and the moon and the stars. It is better to err in preparing and watching earlier than later. Abba Father and Messiah have their own timeline they want done. They do not need to follow our dates, calenders, and timelines. They will also be true to their promises in the Scriptures. There is more truth in them and Scriptures than in our sometimes vain and error prone dreams, visions, and timelines. We must look to them and The Word more than ourselves and some of the latest "'my message from the Lord." My intent is not to sound harsh but to remind us not to get too far off message and off track. The light of Abba and His ever living son is more valuable to me than the light of sun, or moon, or stars. May we look, search for, and find The Eternal Light in our sin darkened world. The hours and days ahead are so important for the Kingdom Come and the Harvest Home. May we be laborers in the Harvest.
My thanks and blessings and prayers are for each of the Doves. The Feast of Trumpets may be more than a shadow picture this year. It may be our blessed Philadelphian appointment time with the Master. The beauty to come...With Love and Shalom,
Jean Stepnoski
