"October 6, 2007 - The Dawning Of A New Day..."

Over the past year, I have been watching the prophetic shadows come and go with the only thing significant is MORE shadows.  Sometimes frustrating especially when you are looking for the fulfillment of the prophetic shadow, and low and behold, it points only to another shadow.

The silence of a shadow is not nearly as impressive as the outpouring of the Spirit of Grace yet unheard or unseen by the church, let alone sound of the Parousa, the Second Coming of Christ.  Like a solar eclipse, you have to be at the right place and know what to look for to observe the passing prophetic shadow, or you will miss it.

On Sept 17, 2007, I met a woman at a single’s Bible study, that as I walked to my car, I ended up visiting with her, and found that she had moved to Tulsa around the beginning of September, and that we also had a number of things in common.  I got her contact information and took her out on Sept 19 and 20th.  She showed me a painting of hers that she felt she should auction off, giving the proceeds to a Messianic congregation in Tulsa.  I asked her what was the inspiration, and she told me it was prophetic of The Dawning of a New Day.  I didn’t give it much more of a thought although I thought it would be significant.  I almost hated for her to auction it off.

On Monday, 9/24/2007, I ran into the daughter of the minister at her small church.  I asked if she knew of the painting and auction, because the Lord put it in my heart to bid on it.  She seemed to vaguely know about it.

On Tuesday, 9/25/2007, I decided I would place my bid on the painting.  For some reason, I got distracted and decided to check out the Church For The Nations (http://www.cftn.com) Podcasts since it had been a while.  There to my surprise, the sermon uploaded on 9/17/2007 (the same day I met this person) was titled, “The Dawning of a New Day”.

Curious how long it has been since I downloaded a podcast, I found it was the May 3, 2007 podcast called The Marriage Proposition.  Hmmm…

She had posted the picture of the painting on her website, and a link for a silent bid showing the most current bid.  The bidding closes on October 6, 2007.

…That is enough to make me think hmmm….

My knee-jerk reaction is that it might pointing to another shadow, but maybe not. 

Oct 6, 2005, I got to see someone that I had long lost a relationship with for nearly 20 years. 

Oct 6, 2006, I received word that I was starting my job on 10/10/2006.  (I have spoken about the divine orchestrations around my job in past letters).

Oct 6, 2007, ???

So far, Oct 6, has been significant days in my life the past two years.  Whether or not anything happens that is more than just a shadow, is yet to be seen.

Also worthy of note:  She recorded herself playing an arrangement that she did of Be Thou My Vision on one of her pages.  It was simple, but Oh my goodness!!!  I was moved.  It reminded me of the arrangement of the song, Only Hope, from the movie, A Walk to Remember.  That was a song, that when I heard it in the theater, I was also moved.

On the day after I met her, Sept 18, 2007, I had to return some CD’s that I had checked out of the library.  One library was close where I had to make a car payment so I stopped in there returning the CD’s.   I thought since I had a few minutes, I would see if they had any others I wanted to check out.  I enjoy music by Michael Card, and they had a CD of his that I had not seen in the Christian Bookstore, so I checked it out.  As I walk out the library, my Dad was walking toward me.  Surprised by the unexpected meeting, we exchanged a friendly conversation as I left back to work, and he was heading in the library for a offsite work meeting.

After work, I put in Michael Card’s CD called Starkindler: A Celtic Celebration Across Time, not even noticing the playlist, and the first song began playing:  Be Thou My Vision.

There is a lot more about this that is intriguing, but I am sitting on the sidelines to see what happens.
