My friend who has the gift of prophecy (She saw 9/11 years before it happened), that we are to prepare our homes for two months without electricity.  That means no water (you need power to pump it if you are on a well) and no food deliveries.  She has no word about "when" or "how" this may come about, but says IT WILL BE SOON.
 
Our church has received this warning and set aside the necessary things.  At the very worst, you will have a cushion against any problems which may arise.
 
I do not know how large an area this warning concerns, but I live in the Northern Virginia area and a local pastor has said the same thing.  In addition, my friend was stopped in the store (as she was getting her water) and told the same thing by yet another pastor (in the SW area of Virginia).  It was also confirmed by several other people through their connections with the military.
 
I agree with Joni Ames in that the Y2K event seems to have been a dry run of coming events.  We learned what to store and what not to store.   I believe that God was indeed preparing us for the future and that that future is soon to come upon us.
 
I pass this along not knowing the timing of this coming event in the hopes that you too will prepare your households for whatever may arise.
