"The Number 153"

Hi John & All:
 
In regards to Ted's recent post on the number 153 and its relation to our calendar system, I thought to add this bit of insight. It was in 1967, during the Six-Day War, when Israel regained control of the entire city of Jerusalem. On my timeline, this equates to 5967 (and during the fall of the year 2000, when Ariel Sharon went up on the Temple Mount, marked the end of 6,000 years).
