"Another coincidence"
With the upcoming Feast of
Tabernacles that many are watching as a possible time that our "tabernacles"
are changed from mortal to immortal, I was reminded of something that cannot
be purely coincidental. The apostle Paul was perhaps the greatest missionary
who ever lived, and he was by trade a tentmaker. Tabernacle = tent.
The earlier disciples were fishermen
who became fishers of men, and in similar manner Paul's occupation could
have been a clue to when these mortal bodies, our tents or tabernacles,
will become immortal. Also Jesus more than likely was born at Feast of
Tabernacles, was conceived at Hannukah, the Feast of Lights, so that He
who is the Light of the world came to tabernacle among men at the appointed
time. I do not think God is a God of coincidences, but a God of perfect
order who delights in giving us clues to search out the hidden treasures
in His Word.
It is the glory of God to conceal a thing:
but the honour of kings is to search out a matter. Prov. 25:2
