Shalom all dear doves, and Jan as you face a ...
Thank you Jan, for the repeat opportunity to see this ...

especially from those of us who might have missed it, the first posting.
Jan ... as you face a potentially 'end of this life' event ... I would
like to encourage you with Psalm 103:1-5 especially ..."[A Psalm] of David. Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within
me, [bless] his holy name. Bless the LORD, O my soul, and ...forget NOT ALL HIS benefits:
1. Who forgiveth all thine iniquities;
2. who healeth all thy diseases; Who redeemeth thy life from destruction;
3. who crowneth thee with loving kindness and tender mercies;
4. Who satisfieth thy mouth with good [things; so that] thy youth is
renewed like the eagle's.The LORD executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are
oppressed. He made known his ways unto Moses, his acts unto the
children of Israel. The LORD [is] merciful and gracious, slow to
anger, and plenteous in mercy. He will not always chide: neither will
he keep [his anger] for ever.He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to
our iniquities. For as the heaven is high above the earth, [so] great is his mercy
toward them that fear him.As far as the east is from the west, [so] far hath he removed our
transgressions from us.Like as a father pitieth [his] children, [so] the LORD pitieth them
that fear him.For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we [are] dust. [As for]
man, his days [are] as grass: as a flower of the field, so he
flourisheth. For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone; and the
place thereof shall know it no more. But the mercy of the LORD [is] from everlasting to everlasting upon
them that fear him,and his righteousness unto children's children; To such as keep his covenant,
and to those that remember his commandments to do them." (Ps 103:1-18)
Jan ...
One thing jumped out at me though, in reading the link you provide
yesterday, ... that really encouraged me:"And to Isaac He spake (26:3, 5), 'I will perform the oath which I
sware to Abraham, because that Abraham obeyed my voice.. ""Sojourn in this land, and I will be with thee, and will bless thee;
for unto thee, and unto thy seed, I will give all these countries, and
I will perform the oath which I sware unto Abraham thy father; And I
will make thy seed to multiply as the stars of heaven, and will give
unto thy seed all these countries; and in thy seed shall all the
nations of the earth be blessed; Because that Abraham obeyed my voice,
and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws." (Gen.
26:3-5)Note the the lesser condition and greater promise ... to the children
... on account of the obedience of their father."Sojourn in this land, and I will be with thee, and will bless the ...
Because that Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my charge, my
commandments, my statutes, and my laws."
And Jesus is our everlasting - ever faithful - Father. To all who
'take HIM'... "But as many as received him [i.e JESUS], to them gave
he [i.e. JESUS gives] power to become the sons of God, [even] to them
that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the
will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God." (John 1:12-13)
So THERE is GREAT ENCOURAGEMENT for us ... even ...
" ... if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and
knoweth all things."
"We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the
brethren. He that loveth not [his] brother abideth in death. Whosoever
hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath
eternal life abiding in him. Hereby perceive we the love [of God],
because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down [our]
lives for the brethren. But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth
his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels [of compassion] from
him, how dwelleth the love of God in him? My little children, let us
not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth. And
hereby we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts
before him.For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and
knoweth all things.Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, [then] have we confidence toward
God. And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his
commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight. And
this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son
Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment." (1
John 3:14-23)
"And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any
thing according to his will, he heareth us: And if we know that he
hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we
desired of him." (1 John 5:14-15)
"Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the
heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast [our] profession. For
we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of
our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as [we are, yet]
without sin. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace,
that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need."
(Heb. 4:14-16)
" ... IN WHOM we have boldness and access with confidence BY THE FAITH
OF HIM!!!"
"And to make all [men] see what [is] the fellowship of the mystery,
which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who
created all things by Jesus Christ: To the intent that now unto the
principalities and powers in heavenly [places] might be known by the
church the manifold wisdom of God, According to the eternal purpose
which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord: In whom we have boldness
and access with confidence by the faith of him. Wherefore I desire
that ye faint not at my tribulations for you, which is your glory. For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus
Christ, Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, That he
would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be
strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; That Christ
may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded
in love, May be able to comprehend with all saints what [is] the
breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of
Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the
fulness of God. Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly
above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in
us, Unto him [be] glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all
ages, world without end. Amen." (Eph. 3:9-21)Shalom shalom,
David
