We all deplore what we see happening around the world from Ahmadinejad's tirades to Olmert giving away the land of Israel and splitting the City of Jerusalem.
 
The USA continues to struggle with the open border policies that are against the will of most people.
 
The Sunnis and Shiites in the USA are beginning to get on each others nerves.
 
The UAW is striking against GM.
 
Liberals are calling for a date to end the war in Iraq (Why can't politicians let the trained military fight the war and just butt out?).
 
Many of our churches are corrupted by the world and materialism.  This confuses me because the same preachers caught up in it are preaching against it in the pulpit - oops excuse me, we no longer have pulpits - from center stage!
 
Earthquakes seem to be occurring daily in divers places.  Torrential rains are causing massive flooding world wide this year - England, Europe, Africa, USA.  Not too many hurricanes yet and tornadoes have been few here.  Fires in  Greece and the USA.  Seems like there were some other countries burning too.
 
Just so much happening!  It all seems to be pointing to the End and Jesus' return.  But the masses of the population appear to be oblivious to all of this.  It is business as usual.
 
And we have all heard "It's been 2000 years and He hasn't come yet!"  Or "People have been setting dates for years and He hasn't come".  Cynicism.  My favorite:  "I remember Y2K"  Now what that has to do with the Return of Christ is beyond me!
 
Those of us who are watching feel alone.  I am so frustrated.  I want to shake people and ask "Don't you see what is happening?  Don't you understand what it means?"  They really don't know!  Once in a while someone will walk beside me for a while and it is strengthening to know there is another watchman there.  But most of the time, people seem to scoff and laugh at us.  Know how Noah felt.
 
But this too is foretold.  They will be blind.  Their hearts will believe the lie.  The stage is being set.  It won't be long now till we'll be leaving here.  We just have to be patient and wait on the Lord.  I know that is difficult.  I want time to race by and I want to see Him and be with Him.
 
I know some are discouraged.  Take heart.  He is coming but there is more to happen before He comes.  It is not finished --- yet.
