JONAH THE SIGN.
Dear Friends consider this:
The sign of Jonah does not end with him being swallowed by a great fish and being vomited out on land. But continues in his mission to the gentiles by preaching to Nineveh and awaiting judgment..
This is a type of the church age and Jonah continues to be a sign. Please note:First
Jnh 1:17
17 Now the LORD had prepared a great fish to swallow up Jonah. And Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights.
The first part of his sign is of the death burial and resurrection. Or PASSOVER.Second
Jnh 3:10
10 And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not.
Jnh 4:11
11 And should not I spare Nineveh, that great city, wherein are more than sixscore thousand persons that cannot discern between their right hand and their left hand; and also much cattle?
Sixscore thousand is 120,000 or a multiple of 120 X 1000 the upper room magnified
The second part of the sign is that of the repentance of the gentiles PENTECOST.Third
Jnh 4:5
5 So Jonah went out of the city, and sat on the east side of the city, and there made him a booth, and sat under it in the shadow, till he might see what would become of the city.
KJV
The feast of TABERNACLES.
The three great feasts of the Lord that encompass the harvest season are in the Sign!
Exodus 23:14After 40 days he sat to see what would become of the city.
We the church after 40 years, since that great city Jerusalem was united in 1967, should be awaiting every tabernacles from here on out till Jesus returns.
If he does not return this tabernacles, we should not be angry, nor discourged, but continure to see what will happen in A FUTURE TABERNACLES.Daniel W. Lizarraga
