Hello John and Doves,
      In response to recent post about ministries selling blessings I try to be very patient in criticizing Moves of God. We know Paul sent hanker chiefs to heal the sick. Are there scam artist....I'm sure, but I've tried to be very slow in judgment of so called Moves of God. I am fearful that just because I might not understand it, I don't want to be guilty of quenching The Holy Spirit. I didn't understand the Laughing spirit, but I also chose not to attend more than one service. Ten years before this Laughing move The Lord in one of our services moved on everyone with a Spirit of laughter, it was wonderful but also an isolated event. Ten years later the mother of my four children and wife of 15 years left me for another and I went to a service that night with speakers from that movement. Granted I was in no mood to laugh and even said Lord if this is of You, here I am and I could really use a good laugh. I chose not to return but it just wasn't for me. I'm not sure why I went into all that but the reason for this post is my disappointment in a major tv Evangelist who asked for donations and a letter to be prayed over on a certain day with our request. I sent the requested 77.00 and a letter not asking for prosperity but physical healing. The check was sent from someone Else's account and for years I got literature sent to my address with their name. It seemed obvious my letter was not even read because my name was on it, but the name on the check was read. I still watch this minister and it could very easy have been a bad staff member but it did leave a bad taste. I've wanted to write them telling them of this , but I don't think they would read my letter. I still believe in sending money to tv ministries as I get fed and I don't have a problem with them making a good living as any CEO of a multi-million dollar corporation. Mansions, planes, cars, and jewelry, I don't have a problem with because The Lord will sort it all out in the end and the end is coming soon.
