"Parallel in Feast of Tabernacles"
Dear John & Doves, One point that I see in the FOT
(Feast of Tabernacles) and the Christians waiting to be Caught Up
or Raptured is the fact that the true Church of Jesus is already His Tabernacle.
When we are saved, He comes to live with us in our tabernacle (ourselves
- our hearts). Before the Church began (if we assume it was at Pentecost)
then no one (except for Jesus Himself) was in-dwelt with God Himself.
The Church has such a wonderful blessing that so many take for granted.
We are new creatures. No one but the Lord Jesus has shared this blessing.
When we are Caught Up, then no one left on earth will be in-dwelt at that
moment. (I am assuming that the entire Church is Raptured).
There are no words that can describe everything that we are given in this
in-dwelling. We are set apart. To me there would be such an
irony if those who are in-dwelt & Tabernacled with God would, at the
FOT, be Raptured. In the FOT the participants look forward to the
end of the feast when they can again (symbolically) enter their Promised
Land. This gives me hope for a Rapture soon. If not, then we
know that these things are given to us to help us see a bigger point later
in our journey.
Thank you John. Perhaps we will all meet soon face
to face! Love in our Lord, Carol
