"Calm before Storm"

It seems we may be in a sort of calm before the storm.  Numerous hurricanes have intensified and swelled up only to dissipate or weaken before hitting land.  In Nebraska, we had a Tornado on Saturday night.  The sirens went off and funnel clouds were spotted.  I took my children with me down to the basement.  Listening to the radio, I heard the man say he was watching a funnel cloud ¾ of the way to the ground.  This was happening in a residential area where many people would have been killed and homes lost.  15 minutes later it all was gone with no damage and no injuries.  Think of all the terrorist bombings that have recently been averted.

Here in Nebraska we had temperatures drop rapidly from the 90’s to the 60’s.  This usually spells Tornados for us.  The sky looks most unusual today.

This week President Bush and many other World leaders, including Iran will be at the UN for a 3 day stay.

I am anxiously looking this week to see what will happen.

Blessings,
