Remember to watch through the Second Day of Rosh Hashana - Sep 24, 2006.

Rosh Hashana is a two day celebration.

A generation can be defined in general terms as the period from a persons birth to that persons first conception of a new life, which starts the next generation.  It appeared to the author that this was equal to 1000 weeks or 7000 days. And twice this period was the period as used from Jesus' passion to the destruction of the temple or the time Israel wandered in the wilderness.  And 2000 weeks or 14000 days from June 7, 1967 is October 5, 2005.

From the Betrothal comes the Engagement that lasts for up to 12 moons in the Jewish faith.   Adding 12 times 29.530588 days/new moon to October 5, 2005 and we arrive at the second day of the next Rosh Hashana, September 24, 2006.

Shalom-
