I have enjoyed reading about angel encounters on this site from time to time so I thought I would share some recent ones with all of you.

My sisters husband had a bad stroke one day at work. His speech was awful and one side of his body got numb. Later in the hospital room my sister was praying and sensed a presence in the room. When she looked up she saw two angels standing by her husbands head. One of them was touching each side of his head, his recovery was quick with no more numbness in his limbs and his speech recovered so well that its hard to tell that anything happened.

A police officer in a nearby town was called to a church Sunday morning. It seems the congregation was having a noon meal and a "drifter" walked in and asked for something to eat. Here is the sad part, instead of feeding him they told him to wait on a bench by the door and called the officer to take him away! The officer asked the man to come in the police car with him and he did. The officer noticed the persons eyes were very bright and when he asked the stranger what he was doing he said "I am working on the harvest". Thing is there were no crops to harvest around here when this happened. The officer told the stranger he was going to get him a room and buy him a meal. He explained that he would drop him off at the motel and that he should tell the owner to give him a room and the officer would be back as soon as he went home and got his billfold. When the officer returned to pay for the room there was no trace of the stranger, no one had seen him.

My neighbor is a minister and preaches at a mission in the city on occasion. The people are mostly homeless and have to sit through the sermon before they can get their meal. Usually the people just get up and rush to eat after the service but this time something different happened. On the way to the mission the minister got a message to preach on Psalm 23 instead of the sermon he had prepared.
He did so and as soon as he was done a woman came up and shook his hand. He said she was wearing a white coat and that she was clean, like shiny clean. She said thank you for preaching what you were told to preach! Then everyone there got in a line and shook his hand (this has never happened before) and one of the men said he needed to talk him later. In the mean time the ministers wife and some others were talking to the woman about their ministry and they said the longer they talked to her the brighter her coat got.  The man that was waiting to talk to the minister said he realized he was a sheep and needed to be saved but didn't know what to say or do but that God was telling him Jesus was the Shepard. God did all this for this one lost sheep.
