That should be the most important question we should ask ourselves in these last moments of these last days.
I’m sure that Peter didn’t think he could, but looking into the Saviors eyes he found he could, looking away he couldn’t.
What I’m getting at is that we should ask ourselves this important question; are there any flotation devices that we are depending on in our Christian walk?
What would happen if all of a sudden there were no churches to go to, no body to fellowship with, no great sermons from the pastor, no outreach ministry to be busy with, no more worship and praise meetings, no one to look at and say “he or she really needs God”, no friends to talk over a question of faith with, no missionary program to be praying for, no church suppers to prepare, no needs to count the collection and budget out what good works they’ll be used for. What if there was nothing but Yeshua, yes nothing but YOU and Yeshua?
Brothers and sisters in these last moments it has to be “Yeshua plus NOTHING!!!”
We are waiting for the trumpet to sound and to hear the voice saying “THE BRIDEGROOM COMMETH GO YE OUT TO MEET HIM” if you don’t have enough oil, you won’t have the time to go and buy before the door is closed; the scriptures say, “there will be weeping and wailing and gnashing of teeth”.
So the question has to be asked and answered Truthfully; “am I wearing flotation devices to buoy me up in my Christian life”, if the answer is yes then it’s time to buy “the oil of intimacy” from HIM that sells it, the price of that oil is “asking”.
The Bride has nothing on her mind but THE GROOM, and neither should we.
Remember oil floats; you don’t need any of those other floatation devices.
