Regarding Gerry Greenough’s article: “ROSH- HASHANA 2006,” I was struck when I came upon this (emphasis on two witnesses is mine):

Just as there were 14000 days from when Jesus was presented as Messiah to the Temple destruction in 70AD there were 14000 days from the recapture of Jerusalem

 in 1967 to Rosh-Hashana 2005. Rosh-Hashana is also referred to as the feast

of unknowing by the Jews because no one would know exactly when it started

as it required “two Witnesses” to report the sighting of the new moon. Rosh-Hashanah

is truly the day no man knows the day or hour.  I believe the Church has misunderstood

what Jesus may actually have been referring to which would have easily been

understood in Jesus generation. Rosh-Hashaha

is also called the Last Trump!

I wonder if the “two witnesses” reporting the sighting of the New Moon, marking the beginning of Rosh-Hashana 2006 will be ELIJA and MOSES?
