I also find it interesting that there are 40 inclusive days from Sept. 23 through November 1; November 1 being Heshvan 10, the day Noah started loading the ark.  Also, if we reckon November 1 at the evening before then “All Hollows Eve” comes onto the radar screen.

While researching Heshvan 17 I discovered that some blogger determined that the original Heshvan 17 was mid-week or Wednesday –  which is also the case for the upcoming  Heshvan 17.
