Eric Casagrande has some interesting things to say about this number which I was certainly not aware of.
I would also like to add that the letter J which featured prominently in his piece is actually the tenth letter of the English alphabet so these initial letters of Jesus, Joseph Joshua and Jacob etc form a line of ones if you remove the zero. Or 11's if you like.
 
Interesting then that the twin towers were each 110 storeys high and that the figure 11 was a major feature of these attacks.(Both Joseph and Joshua being 110 yrs old at time of death and Jacob being 110 yrs old when Joseph was sold as a slave in Egypt).
