"TO Tony Ellsworth:
"Rapture disappointment"..."
Hi, Tony!
Try not to be too disappointed. I, personally,
believe that the Rapture will happen on an ordinary day (Luke 17:26-30),
in times of relative peace.
Consider this, brother. Countless times in Jewish
history, the Lord has given certain things over to the Jews, only to have
them punished by the Lord for disobedience... 40 years here, 40 years there.
Just maybe Jerusalem and the temple mount will cease to be under Gentile
rule (Luke 21:24) 40 years after they won it in the 6 Day War on
June 10, 1967... making the Rapture on June 10, 2007--14 days after Pentecost
2007?????
Which brings to mind the interesting book that Shelby
Corbitt mails for free to anyone who wishes to receive it. It's entitled
"2007". Here's an excerpt from it:
The rapture of the church (God's
children) will happen during the SUMMER OF 2007. This could be anytime
from June 21-September 21. This means Jesus Christ is going to appear in
the eastern sky and call all His children up to Heaven, leaving all the
sinners and unbelievers behind - this is not the end of the world - but
it will be the beginning of a terrible tribulation for those left behind.
Rapture is a Greek word that means caught up.
Food for thought perhaps?
YSIC!
