First of all, thank you all for your prayers, we were given such a spirit of peace in our despair.  And my heart calmed down literally.  Thank you all.  God is great!
 
Doves, I was just looking thru the cartoons on Hal Lindsey's page and when I looked at this one http://oneimage.org/Images/pages/01cartoon194.htm
something occurred to me that hadn't before.
 
I'm kind of slow.
 
The world is so concerned about Bird flu affecting humans but I don't think we have stopped to think what the loss of these birds will do to our world.
 
When birds are gone, as it depicts in the cartoon above, bugs and pestilence will run rampant.  Which means, loss of life from starvation as they eat crops, income from crops, disease (pestilences), the problems are many.
 
And then there is West Nile Virus.  So it's not just the problem of a few birds dying.
 
Just a thought.
 
Thank God we have the Lord and it is all good news.  Just means he is that much closer.
