Dear Doves,

Thank you for your prayers and advice. I am in a "holding pattern" waiting for the Lord's next move. It strikes me as not coincidental that many of us are currently experiencing such stressful life situations. Are we in training for soon-to-be required service? Perhaps.

I've had this in my wallet for years and forgot who wrote it but it's been a comfort to me. So, I pass it on in the hope that it comforts you also:

My life is but a weaving between my Lord and me

I may but choose the colors; He weaved steadily

Full oft He weaved sorrow and I in foolish pride

Forget He sees the upper and I the underside
