"Something I've Been Thinking About"

Hi Doves.

Originally, it was not my idea, but an idea that was proposed some time back
by someone--saying that they thought the Rapture would be caused by an Event,
such as the firing, say, of missiles to land in many strategic places on the
planet--Or, the possibility of suitcase nukes already being in place.  The
latter would seem so easy, because they could come into nearly every country,
in small packages, at different times, and be stored there until they could
all go off at once.

We are all watching specific dates  which seems reasonable to do--but
something about Jesus saying the Father only knew--seems to equate with 1) our
free will and 2) the firing of missiles or setting off of bombs.

I know many Christians in the world are suffering terrible things, and my
heart (as well as yours) is broken over these tragedies--but I am living
really safe and really well, and probably you , the reader, are too.  No one I
know is in terrible danger or fear or does not have enough to eat or drink.
Do you know what I mean? Life is good for many of us in the US.

Do not misunderstand. I am as tired of this 'world' as anyone. I want to go as
bad as anyone, but the missles have not gone off around me/us--and I am not
holed up because of radiation with hopefully enough supplies to outlast the
danger.  Though, after Saturday, I/we could be!

But it makes sense to me, that in that 'twinkling' after the missiles/nukes
are fired and in the twinkling before they hit--we would be 'saved'--raptured.
Perhaps the 'watching' means watching the world scene--the news--putting our
finger up to the wind, but even so, we think we know this is about the
time--but the actual moment may depend on someone somewhere pressing the
button.

What do you all think?

Still looking up, watching, waiting, praying, hoping, giving thanks,

Marcia
