"Dowry"

Dear Doves;
The Holy Spirit keeps quickening to me about the dowry before a marriage. I know that in alot of cultures the bride's family pays a dowry to the groom. But isn't it true in ancient Jewish tradition the groom's father pays the dowry to the bride. I know that after the engagement the bridegroom's father goes away to prepare a place for the bride and does not tell the groom until all things are ready. As most of you know these are all shadows and types. Well the word says "the wealth of the wicked is layed up for the just." (true wise virgins) could this be what the Holy Spirit is quickening to me???
These true wise virgins will not spent this money on things of this world but on the things of the kingdom and preparations for the wedding. It is a Godly gift and not meant for vanity on earth or for show, but to do the greater works. What do you think?
Any information you could share???
Maranatha!!
Karen
