It's looking more and more like our President will make the fateful decision to attack Iran before his term expires in 2009. But if Iran were so decimated by war that she could not join the alliance of countries named in Ezekiel 38-39 that will swoop down upon Israel, then how would this affect the timing of Ezekiel's prophecy? Per Daniel Matson and others, we are expecting Ezekiel's prophecy to be fulfilled very soon, but Bush's action could very well have the effect of postponing the Ezekiel war for a number of decades until Iran rebuilds both its infrastructure and its nuclear capabilities. I could then envision CAP's theory that the end of the age will not come until about 2032 AD as being right on the money if such a conflagration between the USA and Iran actually comes about in the next couple of years.
