I have bad news and good news:

THE BAD NEWS.  Before sending the message out yesterday about Steve Irwin,
I checked an urban legend Web site and could find nothing indicating the
story was false.  However, several reports have come back to me that the
story is, indeed, only a rumor.  It is hard to imagine someone purposely
inventing such a story, but based on this feedback, we must consider that
possibility.

THE GOOD NEWS.  However, an Australian friend has been researching this
further and has advised me that she has first-hand information from a
ministry leader friend that a chaplain in Australia did, in fact, lead
Steve to the Lord privately just a few weeks ago.  This report seems solid
and I believe we can trust it.

So you can continue rejoicing, along with the angels!
