The following article is slightly edited from the
original I received a few years ago ... and if you
appreciate Psalm 103, then you may highly value the
reminder of these scriptures too ... so as 'NOT' to
forget.

God has promised those that will not believe him this:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

De 28:59-61
Then the LORD will make thy plagues wonderful, and the
plagues of thy seed, even great plagues, and of long
continuance, and sore sicknesses, and of long
continuance.

Moreover he will bring upon thee all the diseases of
Egypt, which thou wast afraid of; and they shall
cleave unto thee.

Also every sickness, and every plague, which is not
written in the book of this law, them will the LORD
bring upon thee, until thou be destroyed.

Do you know what that word wonderful means?

'to be marvellous, be wonderful, be surpassing, be
extraordinary, to be beyond one's power, be difficult
to do, to be difficult to understand'

Why would the Lord do such a thing to his people?

De 28:58
If thou wilt not observe to do all the words of this
law that are written in this book,
that thou mayest fear this glorious and fearful name,
THE LORD THY GOD.

Jas 2:20,26
But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without
works is dead? For as the body without the spirit is
dead, so faith without works is dead also.

TRUE FAITH will produce corresponding behavior.

Wonderful plagues are promised to those that do not
fear the mighty name of the Lord, and refuse to "Trust
and obey."

Isn't it a scandal how many preachers now have had
multiple bypass operations? I was just talking to a
friend about a local minister of a Pentecostal church.
He's young enough to be my son. He's now had heart
surgery and has been told by the doctor that he can
never be cured but will be medicated for the rest of
his limited life. Where is his testimony to a simple
faith in Psalm 103:3 now?  How can he preach a simple
faith in the rest of God's word now?

God have mercy on a faithless church that runs to the
world when symptoms occur, and not to the Lord, the
great healer.

Ps 103:3
Who forgiveth all thine iniquities;
who healeth all thy diseases;

Is God alive?

Can he heal?

Is he impotent?

No wonder a church member can't believe when the
preacher has no faith.

I'm appalled. I believe I know how the Lord feels.
What a little faith would do for those faithless
preachers that at the onset of a little pain run to
the doctors and not to the great physician, SUPPOSING
that the world has the answers and supposing that the
Lord's arm is to short to heal.  If we cave in to such
a great battle, (like Israel just did in Lebanon), do
we not then encrease the risk of losing the total war?

Isa 59:1
Behold,
the LORD'S hand is not shortened,
that it cannot save;
neither his ear heavy,
that it cannot hear:

The arm of the Lord can save. Why can't people run to
him, EXPECTING his arm to help, and not man's arm.

Jer 17:5
Thus saith the LORD;
Cursed be the man that trusteth in man,
and maketh flesh his arm,
and whose heart departeth from the LORD.

Are not the preachers of today under a curse? Is it
their pride they will not permit them to admit that
they've erred?

The first item expected of believers is TO BELIEVE!

Hab 2:4b
The just shall live by his faith.

We are under a new covenant, but don't think for one
minute that the Old Testament is to be discarded.

Now we live by the faith of Jesus.

What do you think Jesus would do if he came back to
this earth? Do you think he'd send people to have
heart surgery? Or do you think he would get onto these
preachers that are setting such 'faithless examples'
of faith in His Word?

May I tell you one of the greatest disappointments of
this preacher's life? I went to a R.W. Shambach
meeting in New Orleans many years ago. The move of the
Holy Spirit was awesome. Many were healed. Back then
he had an awesome healing ministry. He was one of my
favorite preachers.

Then he had his open heart surgery. He gave thanks to
the doctors and was so thankful that he had been
'talked into going to have surgery' because it saved
his life. He now has a program on TBN, and I don't
know what he says because I never listen to him. I
think he missed it way back then. I do not believe
that satan could have taken him off this earth one
second before God was ready for him. I believe that he
caved in to the wiles of satan, and lost the battle,
and satan stole his testimony from him.

This is one preacher that would much prefer to go to
heaven than to lose my testimony.

I want to live as a testimony to the faithfulness of
Jesus Christ JUST LIKE CALEB until the day he calls me
home.

If I have a pain, and I have some at different times,
I pray. I ask the one that is willing, according to
his word to heal me everytime.

Can we REALLY believe the BIBLE?

Do you really believe this:

3 Jo 1:2
Beloved, I wish above all things that
thou mayest prosper and be in health,
even as thy soul prospereth.

Joh 14:14
If ye shall ask any thing in my name,
I will do it.

Is that true?

Then if I have a pain in my chest, would my first
choice be to forget Psalm 103:3?

THE BOTTOM LINE IS:

If I really believe that I receive ... ?

But if I really believe that God's word isn't
dependable, then I'll run elsewhere for help lest I
die.

Isn't this thing of God guiding the surgeon's hand
just a cop out?

If you really believe and ask, will you not say ? ...
Psalm 103:1-3 "PRAISE GOD! It's all settled."

Then get up, dust yourself off, command your body to
behave it's creator ... AND SATAN WILL HAVE TO FLEE.

James 4:7
Submit yourselves therefore to God.
Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

Know where sickness comes from.
God allows it, but it comes from satan and
can only touch us through SIN,
primarily, the SIN of unbelief.

(As Jesus said, the world's sin is unbelief.)

1 John 3:8b
For this purpose the Son of God was manifested,
that he might destroy the works of the devil.

Mt 4:23b
And Jesus went about all Galilee,
healing all manner of sickness and
all manner of disease among the people.

Mt 9:35 b
And healing every sickness and
every disease among the people.

You don't have any trouble that faith in God cannot
cure.

I still believe that!  I've proved it true!
